Dr. Evan Oblonsky performed the first Uterine Fibroid Embolization at Northwest Community Hospital in 2000 and is the director of our UFE program.

Dr. Oblonsky attended medical school at Chicago Medical School in North Chicago, Illinois. He then completed a Residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Rush-Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago. This was followed by a fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology also at Rush-Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago.

Dr. Oblonsky is Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology and holds a Certificate of Added Qualification in Vascular and Interventional Radiology.

Dr. Melliere complete his medical training at the University of Illinois in Chicago. He then completed a Residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Chicago.

Dr. Melliere is Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology and holds a Certificate of Added Qualification in Vascular and Interventional Radiology.

Dr. Barker attended medical school at the Medical University of South Carolina and completed a Residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Tennessee in Memphis. Upon completion of his Residency, Dr. Barker underwent fellowship training in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Baylor University in Dallas, Texas as well as a Body and Cardiac MRI fellowship at New York University Medical Center.

Dr. Barker is Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology and holds a Certficate of Added Qualification in Vascular and Interventional Radiology.
